If you’re a true foodie (like me) you’re ready to pack your bags for a scrumptious food adventure. I headed to the East Coast for the 14th annual Food Network & Cooking Channel New York City Wine & Food Festival presented by Capital One. The four day food extravaganza offers walk around tastings, intimate dinners, culinary demos, late-night parties, brunches, lunches, mingling with Celebrity Chefs and of course a returning selection of family fun events.
There are over 65 events, 500+ Chefs, and 50,000 attendees ready to sip wine & spirits while indulging in world-class cuisine from the industries finest Chefs. To top it all off 100% of the festival’s net proceeds benefits New Yorkers in their time of need. To date NYCWFF has raised over $13.8 million dollars. Proceeds from this years fest will benefit:
God’s Love We Deliver (leading provider of medically tailored meals and nutrition counseling for people living with severe illness)
AND
Food Bank For New York City (The City’s largest hunger-relief organization and long-term beneficiary for NYCWFF)
I had a jam packed schedule! My advice is to enjoy yourself and take it all in stride. Each of the 65+ events provides a unique experience. You’re bound to find an event you love! Event tickets range from $95 – $500. This year brought back signature events and I attended them ALL! 🙂

Tavi J Festival Highlights
Fratelli Beretta’s Taste of Italy hosted by Elvis Duran and the Z100 Morning Show
This evening we celebrated ALL things Italy in the heart of New York City. We dined on authentic Italian classics from over 25 of the best NYC restauarants. Sides, desserts, wine and spirits…. Oh my! The evening was capped off with a performance by Tai Verdes – singer of the hit song A-O-K.
Grand Tasting Featuring Culinary Demonstrations Presented by Liebherr Appliances
Returning for it’s 14th straight year the best NYC restauarants, most sought after wines and spirits and culinary stars were gathered all in spot. The festival spans over a city’s block worth of offerings! One of my favorite parts of this event were the culinary demonstrations from the celebrity chefs.
Goldbelly’s Best of New York presented by Bucket Listers
This first time event to the festival was so much fun! Goldbelly founder, Joe Ariel and his team of food explorers and the Bucket Listers threw a huge food celebration! New York City is one of the best food cities and we got to experience some of the most sought after dishes in the city. An extra added bonus attendees got to Rock Out with Grammy Award winner and front man legendary group Run DMC, Rev Run.
Battle of the Boroughs: A Cocktail Showdown presented by Bacardi
This fun event was hosted by Ana Navarro and Gio “Chat Chow” Gutierrez. The friendly cocktail showdown celebrated the NYC bar community. The cities top bartenders from the five boroughs competed in creating craft sublime cocktails testing flavor profiles versatility, and innovation. Even better we got to enjoy the compeition while dancing to live music late into the night!
Backyard BBQ Presented by Pat LaFrieda Meats and National Beef
What a fun event hosted by Andrew Zimmern! Definitely the ultimate BBQ event. We took in waterfront views while feasting on tender brisket, pulled pork sandwiches piled high, and giant Pat LaFrieda premium steaks grilled to perfection. I was in a meat coma in every meat lovers paradise.
What a FUN 4 days full of food, spirits, and education. Follow nycwff.org to keep up to date on next year events!
