Jack’s Pumpkin Pop-Up
September 22nd – October 31st
One of my favorite pop-ups I go to every year is Jack’s Pumpkin Pop-Up. This amazing outdoor experience is located on 2 acres of land. They have the largest corn maze in Chicago, carnival games, axe throwing, and food & drinks. Jack’s is open to all ages and you will have the best instagramable experience. One of my favorite cocktail bars in Chicago is The Dandy Crown. I love how they transform the space into a charming and other worldly Halloween-themed experience. You can expect devilishly delicious cocktails from The Dandy Crown’s award winning Beverage Director, Sarah Syman. I’ve had Sarah’s cocktails on several occasion and you don’t want to miss out! Drink options both alcoholic and non alcoholic will be available. Also expect creepily colorful Halloween decor throughout the interior and covering the outdoor patio through October. HQ Beercade in River North is launching their Halloween pop-up “Malice in Wonderland” on October 3rd. The horror filled tea-party is inspired by the classic fairytale. The experience will feature specialty cocktails, burlesque performances, and more through Halloween. Located at: 213 W Institute Place, Chicago
The Haunted Manor, A Ghostly Rooftop Experience
October 28th – Doors open at 8pm

The Haunted Marz Motel
October 19th 6-10pm
Marz Community Brewing Co. is presenting an evening of supernatural celebration at the Haunted Marz Motel, located in the magical environs of the Kimpton Gray Hotel lobby and bar, Vol. 39. The Haunted Marz Hotel is a fictional motel storied to have once been owned by Marz Community Brewing Co. that will be teleported to the Kimpton Gray Hotel for one evening of mischief.
On Thursday, October 19 from 6-10 PM, guests will be swept away by a bewitching evening filled with festive cocktails at Vol. 39, tarot readings, aura photography, and a live electronic musical performance by Mr 666, noted synth wizard from the astral planes. The Haunted Marz Motel will also serve complimentary tastes of “Marz Room Service,” a collaboration beer made special for The Gray. While sipping, guests can browse the eerie Arts Market featuring fine art ceramics, silk-screened prints, and fashion-forward collections. Located at: 122 West Monroe Street, Chicago
Shipwrecked
October 28th doors open at 8pm
Offshore Rooftop, the world’s largest rooftop by Guiness Book of World Records, is transforming their expansive all-season rooftop space on the East End of Navy Pier into a haunted sunken pirate ship extravaganza this Halloween. On Saturday, October 28, Offshore will offer all guests the chance to walk the plank and get shipwrecked, with tickets including a Premium 4-hour bar (bottomless drinks) paired with several passed light bites throughout the evening.
Doors open at 8pm and the night will be filled with giveaways, a haunted themed costume contest, music, dancing and more. This event is for ages 21 and over and tickets are nonrefundable. Located at: 1000 East Grand Avenue, Chicago
Enter the twiLIT Zone
October 28th doors open at 9pm
West Loop bar, Bandit is known for their cool and vibrant nightlife/late-night scene. On Saturday, October 28th, Halloween enthusiast can “Enter the twiLIT Zone” and visit Bandit’s lively second floor bar (Bandit on Two). Doors open at 9 p.m. and are open until 3 a.m. Live DJ and musical performances will accompany the party vibes that Bandit is known for, in addition to the always enthusiastic staff who will be dressed to theme. Costumes are welcome and the bar will be decked out for the holiday! Located at: 841 W Randolph Street, Chicago
Ina’s Voodoo Lounge
October 3rd – October 31st
Spooky fun is afoot at Ina Mae the whole month of October, starting October 3rd. There will be a special themed cocktail menu, voodoo bingo, Drag & Burlesque shows, Jazz funeral, Live music, Tarot Tuesdays, and more! Located at: 1415 N Wood Street, Chicago
Sweet Dreams
October 13th – October 31st
The theme of this year’s experience at Rizzo’s Bar and Inn is “Sweet Dreams,” where dreams go to die and nightmares come to life. This one-of-a-kind Halloween Experience will be a scream for all ages!
At Sweet Dreams, you will have the chance to see over 20 classic horror movies all collide. Freddy, Jason, Pennywise, Leatherface, and many more! They also have a Halloween themed cocktail menu! Located at: 3658 N Clark Street, Chicago
