One thing I definitely recommend taking advantage of in Chicago is pop up shops. There here today…gone tomorrow…but more times than not offer a wealth of savings. I’ve been to every pop up shop under the sun whether its gourmet chocolate, shoes, clothing, etc. Usually there are discounts, and that was the case today at the Shea Moisture Pop Up shop. Shea Moisture offers bath, body, hair, and face products for women and men.
Everything at the pop up shop was 30% off and they were doing hair and makeup consultations. I haven’t used too many Shea products, but I’m about to start with those prices. 🙂 I bought a reasonably priced hair detangler. I also indulged in 4 African bar soaps with their buy 3 get one free deal. I left a happy camper with all products I bought coming to $20.00 and they even threw in some samples. Tonight they are hosting a Fruit Fusion Party from 3pm – 6pm. It’ll be a night of exotic cocktails, delicious snacks, and music. Hope you get a chance to stop by.
