Every celebration needs a Pre-Party and Choose Chicago First Bites Bash is the official kick-off party to Chicago Restaurant Week! Chicago Restaurant Week is January 27^th – February 9th. Over 300 restaurants in Chicago and surrounding suburbs offer prix fixe food menu’s for discounted prices! (Brunch/Lunch $22.00, Dinner $33/$44) There’s 66 new participating restaurants this year! Check out the menus and ALL the participating restaurants here!

This year marks the 10^th Annual Chicago Restaurant Week and the annual kick-off event First Bites Bash was held on Thursday, January 26^th at the Aon Grand Ballroom at Navy Pier. Stylishly dressed attendees got to mingle with the chef’s and taste sweet and savory bites from over 60 of the restaurant’s participating in Chicago Restaurant Week.

This year’s First Bites Bash was hosted by Chef/Partner Sarah Grueneberg of Monteverde Restaurant & Pastificio. A portion of the proceeds from this yummy event benefitted the Chicago Food Depository.
