Yesterday was the SOLD OUT 2018 Dress for Success Women Wine & Wardrobe Event! The event was presented by JLL and Baker McKenzie at the newly renovated “Club” on the 44th floor of the AON center. When I say we had views for days….I mean it! The Aon Center is such a lovely building to take in the Chicago skyline. Proceeds from this awesome fundraiser benefit the amazing women who utilize Dress For Success professional development programs and services. The organization has served more than 1,000,000 women across the globe since 1997 and more than 70,000 women worldwide receive career coaching, mentoring, and professional development. Our keynote speaker for last nights fundraiser was American Master Sommelier, Restaurateur & TV Personality…Alpana Singh. Our Mistress of ceremony for the evening was TV Host of A Better Day with Julie, Julie Hightower. The evening included delicious wine from LBD Wines paired with scrumptious appetizers. During the event successful business women and Chicago Influencers (myself included) walked the runway modeling some of the latest clothing trends from Trunk Club (A Nordstrom’s Company). I have to add this is my first experience using the Trunk Club and it won’t be my last. I actually tried on two different outfits their stylist picked for me and the clothing fit perfectly. I’m going to need to go back and definitely get these Faux Leather Spanx! I can see myself wearing them all the time.
