Named one of Bon Appetit’s Most Highly Anticipated Spring 2024 Restaurant Openings, Minyoli will Feature Authentic Juà n Cun Cuisine

Minyoli, the new Taiwanese eatery from Boka alum Chef Rich Wang is opening in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood on Thursday, May 9th.The restaurant includes a 1,775 sq. ft. indoor pace and a 920 sq.ft. seasonal patio.
Recently named one of Bon Appetit’s 7 Must-Visit New Restaurants of Spring 2024, Chef Wang’s debut culinary venture pays homage to juà n cun cuisine, the unique style of fusion Chinese cooking that originated in Taiwan’s villages for military dependents.
Raised in one of Taipei’s juà n cun villages, Chef Wang moved to Chicago as a teenager. After receiving his culinary training from Kendall College and working in some of the city’s most renowned kitchens, in 2019 he traveled to Lanzhou, China, the most renowned city in the world for noodle making, to study the craft of handmade noodles. He received his certification as a Chinese Style Noodle Maker before moving back to Chicago to focus on Minyoli.
Housemade noodles will be a feature on the menu, which will include traditional and new variations of Taiwanese beef noodle soup, braised and fried snacks, desserts and a cocktail menu.
Minyoli is set to open on Thursday, May 9th and is located at 5420 N Clark Street in Chicago. The location is open Tuesday – Friday 5pm 10pm, Saturday 11am -10pm and Sunday 11am – 3pm.
