I love unique and fun events. When I heard about Chicago’s inaugural NASCAR event I was intrigued! The NASCAR Chicago Street race weekend is occurring July 1st and 2nd. Chicago will be hosting the first ever Cup Series Street race in NASCAR’s 75 year history.
The Chicago skyline and beautiful Lake Michigan will provide the backdrop for this historic event. The streets in and around Grant Park will be transformed into a 12-turn, 2.2 mile course for a weekend of NASCAR racing. AND…the fun doesn’t stop there. Attendees get to enjoy a festival like atmosphere with live concert performances, culinary experiences, family friendly activities, and more!
For those attending the race on Saturday, July 1st The Loop 121 will feature NASCAR Xfinity Series drivers and Sunday, July 2nd the Grant Park 220 will feature the NASCAR cup series drivers.
