Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants will be reopening its Esquire restaurant at 58 East Oak Street as “Esquire by Cooper’s Hawk” on March 21st. (the location will be opening for the first time since the pandemic)
The venue will continuously feature a rotating series of time-limited Visiting Chefs menus. The vision is to collaborate with renowned chefs to bring unique and distinctive food and wine experiences to Chicago. Each of the rotating Visiting Chefs will present a quarterly menu that explores the long and celebrated relationship between food and wine.
The new concept will offer culinary-forward experiences driven by a Visiting Chefs series kicked off by acclaimed Chef Tom Colicchio.
I had the pleasure of attending a media preview on March 19th. Chef Tom Colicchio was in the house and prepared for us a 7-course Visiting Chefs tasting menu.
You can enjoy the limited time menu yourself starting TODAY, March 21st. The menu items will also be on the Easter menu, so start making those reservations now!!
In addition, the restaurant will feature re-imaged versions of Cooper’s Hawk favorites as well as menu pairings and happy-hour tastings from the venue’s highly coveted 3,000+ bottle wine collection, curated by Emily Wines, Cooper’s Hawk’s Master Sommelier. The Esquire collection was selected by Wine Spectator for a “Best of Award of Excellence” in 2020 and 2021.
