The 2024 James Beard Awards Restaurant and Chef Semifinalists were announced today. The James Beard Restaurant and Chef awards were established in 1990 and are one of five separate James Beard Foundation awards recognition programs.
Final nominees will be announced on April 3rd and winners will be announced at the James Beard Restaurant and Chef awards ceremony on Monday, June 10th at the Lyric Opera House in Chicago.
The 2024 Restaurant and Chef Semifinalists are recognized across 22 categories. Chicago was nominated for a total of 17 awards across 10 categories.
