Tavi J. Interviews on the Red Carpet at Inaugural RomaDrama Christmas Gala
Christmas came early this year! The inaugural RomaDrama Christmas gala in Chicago made a stop at the iconic Drake Hotel on December 2nd and 3rd.
RomaDrama Live! are celebrity gatherings and VIP experiences providing “once-in-a-lifetime” access to some of network television’s hottest stars. RomaDrama Christmas brought together the charm, spirit, and sentiments of the holiday season with fan-favorite actors best known for their roles in romantic dramas and seasonal programming.
The festivities kicked off on Friday, Dec. 2, with the RomaDrama Christmas Gala. Attendees enjoyed an elegant and exciting evening dressed in festive cocktail attire, mixing and mingling with celebrities and special guests. A holiday assortment of libations and fare were offered as well. I got to interview the celebrities on the red carpet before the event began. I grilled them on what their favorite holiday meals were and their best (and worse) Christmas gifts.

Day 2 was the Grown-Up Christmas Breakfast with Santa which featured our favorite elves and celebrities. Attendees wore their favorite holiday pajamas or casual holiday attire to the gathering. As a special gift to the fans, Hallmark Channel offered two movie screenings. Friday night’s sneak peek viewing of “A Fabled Holiday” (featuring Ryan Paevey, Brooke D’Orsay) with a post screening Q&A panel highlighting the actors. Saturday afternoon an interactive matinee screening of Hallmark Channel’s “Three Wise Men and a Baby” (featuring Paul Campbell, Tyler Hynes, and Andrew Walker). During the screening, the actors provided live commentary, behind the scenes extras and bloopers, answered fan questions and more.
Throughout the in-person celebrity experience, ticket holders got a chance to engage closely with their favorite stars, win prizes offered by celebrity guests, collect swag, and gather with other loyal fans, all while making priceless memories. Hopefully RonaDrama brings the joy of the season back next year!
