My absolute favorite meal of the day is Brunch! I’ve been to Broken Barrel Bar for dinner and was so excited to hear their debuting a weekend brunch starting Saturday, November 3rd. Chef Bryant Anderson is giving Chicagoan’s a reason to roll out of bed Saturdays and Sundays!
Chef Bryant’s NEW weekend brunch menu items include in-house smoked meats pile on a hangover sandwich and his homemade pickled vegetables top a bloody Mary that is sure to cure any morning-aftermath. There will be four homemade brunch selections and Chef’s seasonally rotating specialties. A few of the restaurant’s most popular dinner dishes, like the Roasted Brussels Sprout Nachos, will accompany the brunch menu.
A few of the Brunch dishes include:
SMOKED LAMB BENEDICT Fresh baked biscuits, slow-smoked lamb shoulder, creamy hollandaise sauce, two over easy eggs, maple-sriracha drizzle & micro cilantro $14
HANGOVER BREAKFAST SANDWICH Hickory brisket, fried egg, Merkts cheddar, arugula, chipotle mayo, crispy onions, toasted pretzel bun, choice of side $13
CROISSANT FRENCH TOAST Orange-buttermilk batter, homemade triple berry sauce, fresh croissant, whipped cream $12
And what’s brunch without the booze?! Broken Barrel Bar will be pouring:
22 OZ. BLOODY MARY Hank’s Vodka, house blend bloody Mary, pickled vegetables $9
WE’LL TAKE A BOTTLE One bottle of bubbles with fresh orange juice $30
Diners can also opt for Broken Barrel Bar’s well-liked drink troughs that hold 4 Canned Rosés for $36, 5 Canned Cocktails for $30 or 5 Canned Tallboy Beers for $20.
