Last night I attended the Evening in Bloom Gala. The Evening in Bloom Gala is hosted the night before the Chicago Flower & Garden Show. The exclusive benefit allows VIP attendee’s a sneak peak of the show before it opens to the public. We got to walk through life size gardens, taste extraordinary culinary presentations, and witness a high fashion “Hort Couture” fashion show.

One of my favorite displays last evening was “Tablescapes.” Tablescapes often adorn the center of the table, but the creativity behind the twelve table displays showed that they are more than just centerpieces. So much creativity was on display and created by Chicago’s top florists, designers, retailers, event planners, and even students. The displays weren’t just for viewing! AIFD judges rate the tablescapes on site based on tangible standards, elements and principles, and aesthetic standards. Check out a few of the tables below!
