A lot of times we feel stifled if we don’t have people backing us, but why? Have you ever felt that you couldn’t take that trip, go to that movie, or start a new adventure in life unless you had the support of others? Well guess what…YOU are all YOU need! Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying you should go through life not asking for or taking assistance, but don’t let the lack of support from others cause you to miss out on a great opportunity. Your passion alone can be the support you need to succeed.
I started my lifestyle blog two years ago. I was pumped to start this journey! I go out a lot and love to write so I thought this will be EASY! Wrong….LOL. All of my good friends (supporters) are soooo social media adverse. I didn’t want to force them to live my dream and join social media, so I worked hard to build my own organic audience. By focusing on my passion and dedicating time to my craft every day I was able to meet others that shared my passion/vision. Strangers became my encouragers.
The rewards have been immense! If I hadn’t had faith in myself I wouldn’t have gotten a chance to meet the people I know now and share the wonderful experiences I’ve been exposed to through blogging. I realized that forging my journey alone has given me the platform that I now have to be creative and to be ME! You can’t expect everyone to travel the same road you’re on. What’s your passion? How are you going to get there?

I needed this! Following your passion can be intimidating without the support you’ve grown accustomed to. I’m so happy that I pushed through because I found my community and we encourage each other. I will keep reminding myself of this ??
