National Sandwich Month at Mariela Chicago

I love a good themed National Holiday and the one I’m sharing with you did not disappoint. #Nationalsandwichmonth is in August. What better place to celebrate than the newly opened Mariela Chicago Restaurant.

Mariela opened in May of this year. The global coastal restaurant is located inside Stay Pineapple boutique hotel. Mariela tells a story of oceans and origins. From the warm coastal kitchens of Southeast Asia to the shorelines of the Americas and Europe, the menu follows the currents of migration, memory, and the incredible bounty that every coast has to offer.
