Chicagoans the heatwave is FINALLY over and we’re experiencing some great temps. It’s only fitting since the biggest holiday of all started last week… #Leoseason. Not only am I a Leo, but I’m a very special Leo seeing my birthday is the last day of the season. I’m bursting with Leo pride when my day finally comes to celebrate. The BOSS Network, is an incredible organization dedicated to supporting women entrepreneurs and professionals through community, education, and opportunity. Veronica Beard donated 20% of proceeds from purchases made during the event to support The BOSS Network.

I was invited to attend an awesome collaboration between the Sunglass Hut in Chicago and WNBA player Breanna Stewart. To celebrate WNBA All-Star weekend we were invited to the Sunglass Hut store located at 900 N Michigan for a day to celebrate confidence, creativity, and personal expression.
The meet & greet also included giveaways, styling moments, and more. I was super lucky because they sent me the Sunglass Hut 2026 look book ahead of the event to pick a pair of sunglasses I wanted.
