It’s rare I get excited over an email, but when I received the invite to José Andrés exclusive event I couldn’t stop smiling. José Andrés is known for being a Celebrity Chef and humanitarian. His work worldwide with World Central Kitchen (WCK) is truly impressive.
The non-profit organization provides food and cooking services in disaster and crisis situations. I was glued to my phone watching updates of the relief WCK provided to Jamaica after historic hurricane Melissa hit the Island. The WCK served hot meals in the seven hardest hit parishes to support impacted families.
Now José Andrés is adding a brand-new frozen food line to his resume. His frozen food line is now available at Mariano’s in Chicago and Metro Market in Wisconsin!
The exclusive event made for a flavorful afternoon. We enjoyed Spanish bites, sweet treats, and good vibes as Chef José Andrés brought the bold, vibrant tastes of Spain to Chicago. We explored his curated line of croquetas, empanadas, churros, Spanish tortillas, frozen fruit sorbets, Basque cheesecake, and more. Plus we discovered his new FISHSNAX premium conserva collection and globally inspired potato chip flavors like Thai Green Curry and Black Truffle.
