Staycation Alert! 🚨 I headed to Obama’s hometown of Hyde Park for a relaxing staycation @Sophyhotel. The boutique hotel epitomizes the essence of Hyde Park, Chicago and showcases a curated selection of artwork from local artists.

I stayed in the Dorchester Suite. It is HUGE and I love the attention to detail. 🥰 You see that Nina Simone record? 👀 Also make sure you head down to onsite restaurant @Meslerkitchenbarlouge. We had a FABULOUS dinner. I loved the daily special Housemade Seafood Bucatini Pasta. AND the Manhattan cocktail with the @unclenearest infused cookie from @strugglebeardbakery was fantastic.

NEW Opening Alert!🚨 The new concept @Wolfandcompanychicago (which combines a grocery store, restaurant, bar, cafe & lounge, deli & butcher shop, AND access to the 606 trail) opens to the public on June 23rd.

I did a VIP Open House preview and got to tour this awesome new space. We sipped on cocktails, tasted stand out dishes, and met the team behind the magic (@littlebadwolfchicago and @gretelchicago), toured the stunning bi-level space, explored the in-house butcher market & dog friendly patio, and checked out the new coffee bar + daily provisions.

Make sure to check them out when they officially 𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙘, 𝙅𝙪𝙣𝙚 23𝙧𝙙.

The travel industry’s leading international trad

The travel industry’s leading international trade show @ustravelipw is in Chicago June 14th - 18th. During the show travel professionals get to experience world class entertainment, immersive activations, and unforgettable evening events.

I was invited by @Visitwyoming for a one-of-a-kind event that consisted of unique hands on experiences from many destination partners within the state. The event brought the last bastion of the West to Chicago.

We got our own custom-made cowboy hats with @Beavercreekhats, mastered the art of lasso with Cody Yellowstone’s expert guidance, savored the bold untamed flavors of @brushcreekdistillery, witnessed the live creation of Wyoming inspired art by Cheyenne’s Bria Hammock and we got to wear a piece of her vision with a custom temporary tattoo. We smelled the rich earthy scent of handcrafted leather as we watched master carvers from King Ropes and the Brinton Museum. Last, but not least we enjoyed a special performance by two- time world champion hoop dancer Jasmine Pickner Bell of the Northern Arapaho.

What a FUN event! I’m ready to go to Wyoming now!!! 🤠 Are you?

The @Tasteofrandolph is June 13th - 15th. It’s located on Randolph Street between Peoria and Racine. There’s food, shopping, LIVE music, and MORE! This year, Taste of Randolph is suggesting a $10 donation before 5pm each day of the event, and a suggested $15 donation for those attending after 5pm.

I was invited to experience the Taste of Randolph with the ultimate VIP experience. This has always been one of my favorite street fest and getting some behind the scenes action was awesome! Have FUN!!
