The Other Art Fair is a global gathering of creative thinkers, game changers and pleasure seekers sharing emerging talent and unforgettable experiences. Set against the backdrop of the worldโs biggest cities, each of their fairs is different. The fair combines boundary-pushing yet always-affordable artworks with immersive installations, performances and a few curious encounters. The result is an inspiring, evocative, inclusive and fun event that reframes how art can be perceived and creates lasting connections between artists and art lovers.
As the only global art event dedicated to representing independent artists, since launching in 2011 The Other Art Fair has worked with over 3,000 artists from more than 20 countries, and now hosts 12 fairs each year, across the UK, US and Australia.
The Other Art Fair features independent artists who aren’t represented in a gallery at approachable price points. The fair is a weekend-long adventure for the senses; from immersive installations to performances,DJs, and of course food and drink, thereโs something for everyone.

Meet The Englewood Arts Collective (named Chicago Reader’s Best art group 3X) as they invite you into their โliving roomโ. Immerse yourself in a diverse range of engaging activities that pay homage to the vibrant spirit of the Englewood neighborhood. Stop by their space to take part in workshops, spanning Beatmaking, Printmaking, Mosaics, and Macrame. Immerse yourself in the captivating exhibition, SEND IT, a tribute to the iconic PRIORITY MAIL sticker. Throughout the years, this sticker has transcended into a symbol of modern street art and graffiti, providing a platform for individuals of all backgrounds to freely express themselves artistically. Curated by All Star Press, a multifaceted Chicago art destination renowned for its limited edition artist prints from across the globe, the exhibition offers a unique twist on the USPS priority mail label. Their booth, resembling a Post Office, showcases exclusive limited edition works inspired by this iconic symbol.
- The New Future Awardeeย
As part of The Other Art Fairโs continued mission to break down traditional barriers of the contemporary art world, theย New Futures program is designed to launch the careers of talented emerging artists.This yearโs winner is: Reevah Agarwaal. Reevah is an artist from New Delhi, India, currently based in Chicago, IL. Through textiles and collage, her work explores girlhood and the complex dualities that exist in domestic relationships.ย

- Chicago Art Department presents: Catie Burrill and Marylu Herrera
Experience the rich narratives woven by Catie Burrill and Marylu Herrera through two installations presented by the Chicago Art Department. Burrill’s jumbo-sized soft sculptures and Herrera’s Chicana heritage impaired installations celebrate diverse cultural histories and the craft of women’s work, reflecting CAD’s commitment to fostering equitable artistic opportunities.
- Immerse Yourself
Attendees will have the opportunity to immerse themselves and participate in interactive experiences throughout the fair. On Opening Night, grab a slice of cake thanks to Colossal and Chicagoโs Dream Cake Test Kitchen. Pose with inflatable sculptures by Matthew Hoffman and Claire Ashley that can be found throughout the fair. Participate in a community mural hosted by The Simple Good.
