Returning to Chicago for the sixth year, the James Beard Foundation’s Taste Americaยฎ presents a kick-off reception on Thursday, October 25 from 6 to 9 p.m. at The Lakewood Chicago (1758 W. Lake St.). Raising the Bar โ James Beard Foundation Celebrates Women Shaking Up Chicagoโs Beverage Scene, welcomes 200 guests to experience the cityโs top women mixologists while launching a full weekend of Taste America events.
Hosted by Eden in Chicago Owner Jodi Fyfe and Chef/Partner Devon Quinn, Chicagoโs leading ladies in mixology will create specialty cocktails in conjunction with Breakthru Beverage Illinois. Guests will also enjoy a range of seasonal bites from Eden.
