โ I get waaaayyyyy to much sleepโ said no one ever. If youโre like me, life can get hectic and our sleep falls by the wayside. Being constantly on the go itโs essential to find the time to get in some zzzzโs to recharge. Back in college I used to always say I wish there was some place I could go take a nap to reenergize myself between classes. I ended up going to sleep in my car, but it got COLD during the winter time. I know itโs not just me that thought this. Iโve had several other people say the same thing that work in the loop. “If only there was somewhere to nap versus sneaking some shut eye in the maternity lounge at work.” Wellโฆโฆthereโs a NAPPING Studio that just opened up 3 weeks ago in the LOOP. Say WHAT?!?! Peace Power Napping studio is located across the street from Millineum Park in the heart of downtown Chicago! ย I know everyone probably had some version of this idea to open up a napping studio, but Jennifer Thomas brought the dream to fruition.

Jennifer Thomas is the founder of Peace Power Napping. Earlier this year, in January, she kept feeling tired and disengaged at the consulting firm she was working at. That led her to do some research and the common solution kept being โget more sleep.โ She started digging deeper and thought about how much more productive she could be at work if she was able to sneak away for 30 minutes or so to nap. Jennifer took a big leap and opened up Peace Power Napping to help the rest of us be more productive. ๐
Nap Essentials!
The nap studio has 5 beds that are super comfy! The beds have a green tea top on them and the bed and pillow material is tempurpedic. Thereโs also an option to use the silk pillow cases for those of us not wanting to get our hair messed up. Each bed has its own separate sleep area. When you enter the studio just head on over to your assigned bed. At your bed station youโll find a bottle of water, eye mask, essential oil spray, lavender eye pillows, and of course blankets.
