Red Fish Bleu Fish - Hyde Park in Chicago

The highly anticipated new seafood restaurant Red Fish Bleu Fish will open its doors to the public in about 10 days. The Hyde Park restaurant has a medium size menu that includes items such as: red snapper, raw oyster, fried oyster, Mahi-mahi, whole lobster, lobster tail, a few pastas, lobster mac & cheese, and even a New Orleans Seafood Boil option. You can also expect a couple of vegan and vegetarian items to make an appearance on the menu. Most menu items are quite affordable and range from $8 to $35. The cocktails will be super fun and tropical! There will be margarita’s and a featured drink on the menu called the “Mad Man Old Fashion.”

The restaurant has seating for up to 140 people. For those wanting to host private parties/events the banquet room seats up to 400 people. The owner, Jovanis Bourgoub, open the restaurant doors for private functions last week. The company website (redfishbleufish.com) is under construction, but for private bookings contact them through their Instagram page @redfishbleufish. Parties of 8 or more are encouraged to make reservations.

Restaurant hours will be Sunday – Saturday from 4pm till midnight (kitchen closing at 11pm). About a month or two out from the restaurant opening lunch and weekend brunch will be offered. Red Fish Bleu Fish will also introduce a Monday – Friday happy hour from 4pm to 6pm. In the not to distance future there will be a to-go menu and delivery.
